Professional Career:
2004 – Rosenfels played in a reserve role for all three preseason playoffs and was 12-25 for 115 yards with one touchdown and one interception for a rating of 57.9. Against Washington he was 1-2 for five yards without a touchdown or interception and against Jacksonville he was 7-10 for 70 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.

2003 – He participated in two games in a reserve role. He also became the third quarterback in seven competitions. On November 9 th he replaced starter Brian Griese in the fourth quarter of the game. His opening touchdown pass of NFL career was against Donald Lee when he hit a 21-yard strike in the end zone with 20 seconds remaining in the game.

2002 – On August 22, 2002 , Rosenfels was traded by the Dolphins from Washington in exchange for a 2003 seventh-round draft choice. He was designated as the third quarterback in nine games. On 4 th November he made his Dolphins debut at Green Bay . He was 41-65 (63.1%) for 580 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions for a 104.6 rating with both Washington and Miami .

2001 – Rosenfels spent major part of the season as Washington 's third quarterback. He received promotion as a backup quarterback for Washington 's contest against Kansas City . He was originally a fourth-round draft choice (109th overall) of the Redskins in 2001.

College
As a collegiate Rosenfels led the Cyclones to their first Bowl appearance in 22 years. As a senior he delivered the school's first-ever postseason win in 2002. The same year he served as a co-captain and completed 172 of 333 passes for 2,298 yards and eight touchdowns and rushed for 381 yards and 10 touchdowns. In his entire four year career, he connected on 306 of 587 passes for 4,164 yards with 19 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. In 1996, he was red-shirted as a freshman. In 2000, he became the recipient of first-team Academic All Big 12 honors.
 

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Rosenfels has great size and an ability to lead. Redskins selected him in the fourth round (109th overall) due to his potentials. He defeated Pitt by throwing for 308 yards and two TDs.

During his career with the Cyclones, Rosenfels appeared in 29 matches, passing for 4164 yards on 306 of 587 attempts (52.1%) with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His 306 completions of 587 throws rank fourth on the school's career-record list. He is well known for his uncertainty.

Collegiate Highlights:

According to the schedule, Rosenfels initiated games in each of his four seasons. He led the Cyclones to their first bowl game. As a collegiate he accumulated 2,682 yards of total offense and 18 touchdowns.
