Rosenfels was born on 6 th March 1978 to Jamie and Robert Rosenfels. He did his major in marketing. He is married to Maria and has a son Peyton. He prepped at Maquoketa ( Iowa ) High School, where he was marked in football, basketball, baseball, tennis and track. He became an All-State choice in baseball, basketball and football. As a senior he held the kicking and punting duties and completed 76 of 148 passes for 1,122 yards and ten touchdowns. Four times he became the recipient Big Twelve Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. In tennis he accumulated a career singles record of 40-6. For eight semesters he remained on the honor roll of National Honor Society. During his one year with the Redskins in the Washington , D.C. he was all into charitable events that assisted the Ronald McDonlad House and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Rosenfels resides in Maquoketa , Iowa . There he served as vice president of the Future Business Leaders of America

Rosenfels was acquired in 2002 from Washington in exchange for a 2003 seventh-round draft choice.
